Here is one for a friend who is deploying and another badge. The colonel rank was more difficult sanding to the right thickness.

Very nicely done and am sure will be well rececieved. Are these mini metal pins or are these decals??? If pins where are you getting them??? Thanks and thanks for showing.

Those are really neat. Do you mind telling where you get the badges and other insignias? Got a Navy pilot son that I'd like to try to make one for.

The badges are tie-tacks with the prong sanded down and the back sanded. I think the only place you can get them is at the Military Police Museum store at Ft Leonard Wood, MO.
I use Marine Corps rank insignias because they are smaller and fit on the pens nicely. I picked-up the COL rank at Quantico. I suppose they could be purchased online.
Both are metal and have to be sanded down to a thickness that you can easily bend and not lose the 3D effect at the same time.
