Both look really nice. On the acrylic did you paint the tube or the blank or both??? What type paint did you use and what adhesive did you use to glue the tubes in??? Thanks and thanks for showing.

I used chrome tubes(just in case) with no paint(took a chance). The white was completley solid and you can't see any of the tubes or glue( I use CA to glue in tubes)..

I used Jr Retro. The black accents went well with the blank coloring.

TruStone is my favorite. This one is called Bloody Basin Red Jasper. I buy all my TruStone from R and B Crafts (http://www.randbcrafts.com/main_page.html). He always has a good selection at good prices(shamless plug for a fellow turner)

I agree with the others - those are two great pens. Great choice on the kit too - retro is one of my favorites, and it works well here.
