Some of you know me as a vendor of materials and parts, but before that, I was a pen maker, and, once in a while, I still make a pen here and there. This is a prototype of my next pen, the Potomac Inkview, which will be available to order at the Baltimore Washington International Pen Show coming up the first weekend in March. Everything, except the nib/feed/housing unit, and raw materials was done in house, including casting the brass clip, and electroplating the fittings, flame polishing, etc. The plastic used in the body, is of course my FLEXIGRAN plastic.

Beautiful pen but a little difficult to see. Any way to reduce the size of the pictures?

I love the way you did the clip too. Beautiful colors, simple lines, stunning.

Hello Richard, I like the shape of this pen, and the blank also. But I do have an issue with the two different finishes, or looks of the clip and the gold bands. For me, one doesn't compliment the other, instead, they clash.

I love the overall style. I think the clip design is excellent but have to agree with Len, that it needs a little refinement. I'd also love to know how you have secured it to the cap.
How about a smooth polished finish to either the sides or top surface of the clip with a flat knurled finish to the adjacent sides....if you know what I mean.:good::good::good:
