Olive wood is one of favorit woods to turn. Smells like sweet wine and turns and looks great.

Great looking pen! You cant go wrong with Olivewood. It looks like you were taking the pic on your grill outside. Ive tried this too but for some reason, natural light doesnt work well with my camera. I get better results on the top shelf of my refridg. on white paper. I havent done a Baron yet but plan on it soon. Thanks for sharing.

Sorry bitshird for late reply Wife has been in hospital and I have had laser eyesurgery!
The finish is SHELLAC. Really works well1
