These kits are starting to grow on me. Here's a black chrome Panache in Xcut olive from Darrick. Finish is 5 coats of laquer and wax. I've included an olive cigar pen for scale.

Any and all comments/critiques appreciated!

Travis - not sure what you mean by "chesy"? I think the kits are good quality for thier price, but they are not high end/expensive kits. You get what you pay for.....

That Panache is really pretty! They're unusual looking kits, and I don't know how much demand there will be for pens made from them, but they certainly attract attention.

great looking pens ...I love the the x cut olivewood! I've done all three platings of the Panache and sold some in each plating...no complaints yet. They are definitely a conversation starter when I display pens

Wow! What a reception to my attempt at a pen. Remember, I controled the camera angle and chose the side shown [:D] Good thing its not a close up!!!!!

Kit is from Craft Supply USA. I'm beginning to be a fan of bias and cross cut anything.
