I wanted to try my hand at tennons and mixing wood with plastic and mixing textures. I did not paint the tube as I was going to use satin gold hardware and I thought the acrylic would show this as a highlight tapering off towards the wood. I ended up using the black TI at my wifes insistance. Thanks for looking.

Good one, Frank, but I have to agree! I've often thought about mixing organics with synthetics, but so far I've been able to talk myself out of it. Sorry, Scott. Your workmanship lots quite good as far as I can tell, I just don't care for the mixture.
