I made these pens for an old friend and neighbor (I always refer to her as my second mother), and her family. She will be celebrating her 90th birthday this month. The wood I used for the pens was removed from her homestead during a recent remodel (second picture). This would date the wood at somewhere between 100 and 135 years old. May she and her family always remember the fond memories of their home each and every time they use this pen. Thank you so much for everything, Happy Birthday, and my God bless you.
