This one is about 3 years old give or take. I didn't make it so I don't know exactly when it was, but it has been around for a couple of years. The wood hasn't cracked yet and it has been left in the car summer and winter.

Do you know who crafted the pen??

Maybe we should talk to the maker and find out his/her secret??

Maybe you just got lucky?? I imagine there is not a 100% cracking rate for snakewood. Maybe you got one of the 5% that don't crack??

I just finished responding to a post on The Pen Shop forum about a snakewood pen that was crack free for 6 months.

I feel the need to find out about the mysterious Snakewod, I think that most of the problem is related to drilling, heat, and not being fully cured, but I'm going to find out, soon.
