Okay, So I finally got around to posting some pics, bad pics, but pics none the less

First is a Desert Ironwood Sierra in Chrome and Black titanium.

Next is a piece of Rosewood Burl on a chrome Sierra. I was trying to keep a bit of the sapwood on this one, so I turned it pretty fat. Then aftrer polishing I noticed a face in the sapwood.

Back of the same pen.

Is it me, or is there ANOTHER face in there?

Then I decided to see what I could do with Johnny's aluminum blank. I decided on a modified slimline with a nice little purpleheart centerband for contrast. I left it a bit proud as I intend to take it apart and repolish it. I just don't have alot of patience.

Lastly for todays pics is a nice little modified Slimline wrapped in Irish Spalted Beech with a acrylic centerband

I'll be over in the picture taking forum if someone wants to tell me how bad they look...... [:p]

Nice work all round, we are penmakers not photographers! [:p]

I would rather see a lousy picture of an excellent pen than an excellent picture of a lousy pen! lol

Nice Pens!! Try a different color background. Blue is a hard one to balance. A neutral gray would make the pics much better.
I really like the last one. I'd bet that would make a great RT Euro and use the Acrylic instead of the CB from the kit....
