Here is a chrome and black Sierra with acrylic offcuts stuck together randomly. I can't throw the little pieces away

I forgot to mention that I use CA to glue the pieces together. I tried one with epoxy but wasn't happy with the result, not enough glue or not enough squeeze??

Cool!

Hey - yours actually looks excellent! I tried this and it wound up in the 'ugly pen contest' Nice work!

I can relate....not tossing those cut-offs out, got a large flat rate full of them in the shop. This is what my mind's eye had in store for them someday. Well done!!

How thick did you cut them? Looks to be pretty close to 1/8th inch thick...

Hi Folks, thank you all for your comments.

Danny I cut them using my Makita 10" chop saw with a newly sharpened blade on. The big downside was the 3mm kerf of the saw meant I lost too much of the material on each cut. I have tried to get a thinner blade but they are very expensive. I bought a cheap bench top bandsaw but I am having trouble getting it accurate.

Scott, they are about 1/8th"
