Just another piece of cut up bowling ball on Silver Pearl hardware. You may notice that the profile of the pen is a bit different from other modified SLs of this type. The thickest part of the pen is actually just under the clip, not at the CB. For some reason the photo makes it look like you can see the brss tube at the nib end. You cannot. In fact the tubes are colored. I can omly assume that this anomoly came from my skylight (visible in the pen).

Nice job Billy and a great shine....I have never turned bowling ball. Does it turn like home brew PR? Is that pick guard for the center band?

Thanks, guys! Johnny, this was from two pieces of bowling ball that Alice sent me some time back. I have one similar that I'll be cutting up when I can get caught up on my orders. John, yes it turns like PR... at least my homebrew... I haven't turned anything else yet but I just got some nice stuff from Woodturningz that I'll be trying soon. The CB is white and blue fiber washers from Woodturningz.

Great work Billy, the color is brilliant. Blank and plating option is bang on. The CB adds a touch of class![]
