Last fall my neighbors son asked me to help him sight in his new rifle for deer season. I got to keep the brass so I decided to try my hand at bullet pens. A while back I was at a craft show for people selling stuff for people to make crafts. A guy had a box of deer antlers so I bought a few. I drilled the blank so that some of the bark on the outside would still be there in the finished product. Even though I am degreed photographer I have not taken a serious photograph in years. So below is my first bullet/antler/pen photograph.
Let me know what you think.

Thanks for the positive replies. The antler has just been sanded to 800 grit with no finish.
This pen is for me and I want to see how it weathers. No idea on what kind of deer since I bought it from a guy who just had a box of antlers for sale at a craft show.
