Ocean Mist Acrylester from Woodturningz on 8mm Designer/Euro (Parker refill). This one was not nearly as brittle as the last. In fact, it turned rather easily with my skew (keeping it sharp, that is). So far, if I were to review the Acrylester, I'd say great colors, polishes like a dream, but the brittleness doesn't seem consistent. Had one blow up on me while drilling. And I was on my slowest speed, going slow and taking short strokes to clear the cuttings every 1/8 inch or so. I'm happy with what I've been able to turn overall, though.

Thanks for taking the time to look and as always, comments/criticisms welcome. [8D]

Billy use water to lub the hole and use a vacume to keep the bit cooled down. I have a syringe that I use to squirt water into the hole. I use a cravas tool and stick it right under the turning bit for a few minutes, it cools the bit pretty fast.
