I was playing with some segmenting and came up with this:

1_Big_Combo.jpg

Red acrylic, gold opalac, pick guard, and yellow heart.

It doesn't really work for me on several levels - I think it's too busy, and I'm not thrilled with the shape, but I thought I'd post it so that others could learn from my "mistake"

Barry, I like it. I'd definitely use it on a daily basis.

I need to pick up some of that pick guard.

I'm going to save the pic for a future project reference. Thanks for the post..

Barry,

The pickguard looks good!!

Shape is interesting, is it comfortable with the section above the nib larger?? I suspect customers will REALLY scream, since I often hear< "Oh, that's so HEAVY!!!"

(Try a bale a hay, wimp!!)

Experimentation is good!!!

Looks good to me Barry! I like the red acrylic with yellow heart. I think the blank might have looked better on a jr. kit rather than a cigar. (just my opinion) I dont think the cigar kit is nice enough for your work of art.

Looks great from my perspective! I am not a fan of that shape in general, but the guard pick at the point of the slim down makes it look good!
