I like the centerband and it's contrast with the cocobolo.

Was the centerband hard to do?

Not too bad Dan. TBC, then chuck up in my collet. Drill it out, shape with skew, sand, finish, then cut off the last slither I left holding it on. I had a punch in the tailstock same size as the hole for stability. For the cut off edge, I put the punch in the collet with the center band taped on it and finished the edge.

I love the shape,its got real elegant look to it.

I hope to learn how to turn closed-end pens someday.
