My / Our wedding pen. This pen was a lot of fun to do and I owe a great deal of thanks to both Marla and Larry in Harrow for helping me get it to what you see today. Larry for helping with the kit and Marla for the blank.
The pen is a Jr Statesman II rollerball. Marla had her friend Jessie hand paint the tubes with gerber daisy's which is the flowers we are using at our wedding and then cast the tubes in clear resin. I then took a long time to turn the barrels being extra careful not to ruin this one and the efforts by all were well worth it in the end. I tried for an hour to get some pictures that I thought would do it justice but these are the best I could come up with. Something that doesn't show up in the pictures is a glitter type paint that Jessie used on the flowers and is really subtle but adds the extra sparkle.
Once again, thank you Marla and Larry. This one will be used once on October 1 and then put away on display for safe keeping.
