This is a copper retro that found its way into my shop to be fitted with "something strange", the lady picked out a blank that felt like balsa to me and asked for me to use it. After blowing that one up while drilling, I remember one that was partially stabilized and used that one instead. I don't think she will mind too much. She also grabbed another retro that was sitting in the shop ready to be stripped down and reused. That one is a Stabilized green buckeye burl with waves and an English Yew cap in Ti. Gold. She liked it, but I think it was ready for another blank.
