Nolan's Amboyna

Here are the results of some of Nolan's (n4631x) Amboyna Burl that he shipped to me a month or so ago. I finally got around to turning some. I have to say, it is probably the most enjoyable wood to turn - primarily because of it's immediate beauty and the smell is so good!

I like the pen and the wood, it is a good wood to turn, very dense but not all that hard.

It's nearly impossible to make a pen with amboyna that doesn't look stunning, yours is absolutly wonderful to see, my favorite wood for a classy pen!
