That is a really cool pen. There are two pens we never forget. Our 1st pen, and our 1st amboyna pen. And I'm with Mike on the aroma of amboyna. I always plan on saving the shavings, but I never do.

So, did your niece like the pen? :biggrin: Sorry, it's been a long day.

I like the contrast between the sapwood and the burl, too. It looks like organic segmenting...which, y'know, it is, but hopefully you know what I mean, haha.

I REALLY like the shape of it. It's subtly curvaceous. Very nice pen!
