The week before Thanksgiving, my father-in-law, who had purchased a bolt action pen from me a while ago, was eating dinner and signed his credit card receipt with said pen. The waitress loved it and asked if she could buy one. Then two. Then the guy he was with decided he wanted one as well.
So he called e and asked if I could have three bolt action pens ready for when he visited at Thanksgiving. Sure, gave me an excuse to be in the shop. Made an additional one for a friend. The FIL arrives. I show him what I've got, figure he will choose three out of the four I have freshly made. He takes all four. And asks for two more. And then decided he needed to get a gift for the neighbor who is watching his house. 7 pens sold!
Six bolt action, in East Indian rosewood, Cocobolo, BOW, Ebony, Aspen Burl and Honduran rosewood. Regular bullet thrown in for fun. The green one is the only one for a woman and it is a major wrapped in an acrylic from Berea Hardwoods.
