After looking at the pens posted in the Novice catagory, I thought that my "Standard" version didn't even qualify for Novice[:I], so today I decided to see what I could do with 7mm Slimline kits.

The first picture is "A variation on a theme in Walnut."

The second picture includes:(top to bottom) Brazilian Cherry, White Oak, PAduk, Big Leaf Maple, Redheart, and Cherry.

Bruce...now you've done it! You'll never refer to them as slimlines again. They're "custom designed writing instruments for a smaller hand, that happen to also fit a Cross brand refill". Congratulations!

Like the "variations" idea. A great way to dress up similar blanks. Especially like the design on the cherry pen in the second photo.
