New Year's Resolution Not

I got up with a resolution to organize my pen making stuff and immediately got distracted by a stabilized corn cob that a friend sent me. I had not tried a corn cob and the next thing you know I am making a pen instead of organizing my stuff. Gun metal Le Roi V2, ca slurry sanded and finished with pensplus.

Oh well, maybe tomorrow.

That's why I don't make corn cob pens. They are a pain, therefore all my congratulations go to this turner. Patience, sandpaper and lots of cyanoacrylate.

The reason you didn't stick to your New Years Resolution is, you didn't have a pen to write down what you had to do to tidy up your pen gear. Now you have a pen, there is no excuse, so get stuck into tidying up your pen gear.

That is also what I need to do....maybe after the next pen or two.

That came out really nice. I've got a couple Sierra-size cob blanks I should finish up--that will be my resolution. ;-)
