Hi Keith!

This penturning thing is coming along! Nice work! That is a nice shape variation on a slimline pen. It looks good and feels good in the hand. It is what a lot of people call a "scallion" shape.

Here's something you might try - think in terms of no centerband, and no center bushing while turning. You can make the pen any size in the middle you want. It sure opens up the possibilities of the kit!

I think two weeks is not really enough time to truly know what direction I want to go. I have some ideas, but I am sure I need to make a bunch more pens in order to get more comfortable with everything.
