Greetings everyone!
Well I finally got moved and into my new Shed... er, Studio, and I'm back turning. I have to tell you that the time away from the lathe didn't do my skillset any favors. I struggled as I tried to hurry to get through a bunch of pens when I should have been taking my time and enjoying the process.

I had been eager to get turning again because I had a bunch of awesome blanks from Bob Dupras and wanted to see them in the flesh (so to speak). Unfortunately I setup my light box in a new location and the pics didn't come out very nice. It could have been that I was tired, not sure, really.

Full Statesman FP in Galaxy Trek
Jr Gent FP in an Experimental Green Resin
Atrax RB in Lavender Chill
Atrax FP in Sutra Pink

Cheers,

Great Pens, Eric.
Love the Galaxy Trek, and Experimental Green Resin, Blanks from Bob.
Hope your new Studio, is coming all together, they can take a lot of twigging, to get it as you would want it.
Mine is like a Cecil B DeMille Epic Production.
"A Million Dollar Budget, a Cast of Thousands, and Years in the Making".
And still looks like an Overcrowded Car less Garage, full of other Family Members Junk, and of course My Treasures.

Thanks guys... My wife and I are renting a place while we wait for ours to be ready to move in. Probably six months or so. The current location doesn't have a garage but it does have a shed that we are using for storage of some the things we don't need to unpack in the temporary digs. Fortunately Its just big enough for my workbench, lathe and band saw. I can also get a folding table with my computer and enough space for organizing and assembling. Everything is powered with an extension cord to the house. That's about it. When I'm in there, its like ten pounds of stuff in a five pound bag so I don't think I am going to post pics of this place, but when I build the new Studio S, I will for sure.

Thanks for the nice words on the pens, I had this pent up desire to be productive (other than moving boxes and hanging pictures) and the first thing I wanted to do was to turn some of Bob's beautiful blanks (that alliterates nicely).

Cheers,
