From the new shed

My niece is getting married this Saturday so these are the pens the first from the new shed.

The box is from David at Timberbits and I did some wedding embellishing on it, The kits are also from David and I think they make great wedding pens.

The Alternate Ivory is from Australian Woodcraft and the Australian ebony is from Sundowner, many thanks Graham the ebony is magnificent. It will be interesting to see what the one with the sapwood looks like. The ebony is the darkest timber I have ever turned and it was beautiful to work with.

The Alt Ivory is sanded to 12kmm, then micromesh polish and then PlastX. The ebony was sanded to 12kmm, 20 + coats of WOP and MM and Plastx.

Extremely happy with the way they have come out the pictures do not do them justice.
