Hello All.

Below are a few pens I've made this week, The emperor is with Amboyna two tone burl from http://www.burlsource.com/index.html. Thanks Rob.

The Polymer clay came in the mail today. Couldn't wait to turn it. It's from http://www.knbpenblanks.com/, thanks Kathy

The pen kits themselves (minus the emperor) and various other resins are from http://www.exoticblanks.com/, Thanks to them as well.

Got the emperor kit from www.smittyspenworks.com Love that Emperor, but man is it expensive.

And no, this is not an advertisement, just giving credit where credit is due and acknowledging the great service at each one.

And thanks to the forum for all the great advice. Let me know what you think. I do wish the photography was better, maybe next time.

-Joel

The Red Dino bone is hard stuff. My first tru stone, so I'm not sure how it compares to the others. Definately had new sharp carbide bits when I did it. Took 3-4 times longer then most woods.

That was my experience also. But many of the other tru-stones are much easier. I've done a banded malicite and a red & black. both were much easier than the dino bone. Most sites will tell you which is easier.
