Below are some new pens I turned last night. No comments on the pics please. I'm still trying to polish up my penturning skills---the pics will have to wait.
Cherry slimline. Nothing special, just trying out a few finishing tricks.
Holly and Blackwwod fat slimline with no centerband. I'm really pleased with this pen. It feels great. Hard to keep holly clean though and I got a few specks in the wood. Oh well.
Just a simple Birdseye Maple Slimpline. Really please with the finish and feel.
My pride and joy. A cedar with a slimline copper kit. Cedar is such a pain and needs to be saturated with CA in order for it not to crack and break apart when you get it pretty skinny. This one goes to my pen cedar blank supplier today!
