It's a nice start!!

Center looks like abalone, probably really pretty.

You need more light - but my first couple (hundred) pictures needed improvement too. Practice!!!

Wow, I love that Carbera and the purple Sierra. Actually, I like all three of them, once I shined the flashlight on my screen. hehe []

A little more light, or more exposure maybe. You can also just brighten your pictures up in software, like so:
