I had a wonderful blank made up. I made a blank using a bunch of scrap wood. The blank looked pretty cool. I go it all drilled and glued up. I faced it, and ran into a couple of issues, but they were fixable. I then started turning, and well it fell apart. I then decided to part it off and start over.

I went with Red Mallee and made this really nice Classic American Ball Point twist pen. This was a first for me. I did my first tennon. I got it all done, put it together, and then had to disassemble the tip end because it was rubbing and made it impossible to twist the pen.

Here is my finished pen. Comments and criticism welcome. Just know I have had a rough week, so you might make a girl cry...lol Just kidding. All comments welcome good or bad.

You did great! Pull that buffing string off and you'll be all set. :)
