This is made from white oak, this is turning into a very interesting project.......

I really like the grain in that wood. What finish are you using.

I'm using finishes from Doctors wood shop
http://www.doctorswoodshop.com/. I've been very happy with the products and he is a great guy to deal with.

I don't normally use allot of white oak, but I have some really nice pieces of this wood. It's only 300 yrs old.

Hopefully I'll have a few more out of this lot of wood that can be saved. Some of the white oak is kind of plain, but if you run across some with some nice figuring and spalting they can turn of ice
