Beautiful stuff Lou. This is indeed a good day with Eagle reemerging and now you posting your wonderful creations. The snakewood just keeps charming more than the rest, no matter how many times I view it.

Your pens are flawless as always Lou and the photos are really dramatic. But, I still think you need that bounce flash to tone down the highlights a bit.

Thanks for the kind words. Bill (Jackman) - you're right. The top is cumberland and the second is green, both ebonite (hard rubber). The third is black maire (pronounced my'-ree) from New Zealand. The snakewood is winging it's way to St. Louis to be given as a gift. Hank - yes, more work with urushi. While the results are getting better, the process still whips my backside most of the time.
