New Micrometer Pen

Decided to make another micrometer pen but with a smaller mic so it wouldn't weigh too much. Took a inside mic that had a piece lost and made a pen out of it. Weight is much like a slimline. Used Cocobolo wood with a satin nickel nib. CA/BLO finish. Got a picture with it pulled apart, the cross refill sticks out just enough to swap out.

Wow. You really should see if you can get exposure in some metalworking magazines, or forums.

I really think that a lot of machinists would love to have a pen like that. Very unique.

If you find a nice niche product, just like this pen, you can do well.

Appreciate the kind remarks. I'm gonna go to the swap stuff forum and see if anybody is interested in swaping for some micrometer parts tomorrow afternoon.
