tried a new kit after doing the same kits for a while. glad i did. i like it and this one turned out great. bought 2 new styles but need more parts to turn the other one so it will have to wait.

so for now. here it is . an atrax in chrome wrapped in maple burl.

yeah everything i've done till now has been postable but wanted to try something different and this pen particularly has a really heavy end cap which gives the (half) a pen a really nice weight.

I love your pen. The only problem i had with them, is that they didnt come in postable. and for me postable sells better

Make some Triton closed end pens. THEN, take the unused threads and trim ring left over from the closed end and make some Atrax postables. I don't know WHAT you then do with the left over Atrax non-postable end - I'm saving 'em! When I get a bucket full, I'll figure out a use for these.

Great looking pen and the wood is a perfect example of why I gave the kit a try......some materials do better without all the fuss and fluf of most kits. Haven't turned mine yet but I am definately looking forward to it!
