Hello,

Tonight I turned a new Jr. Gentleman kit. I used the B2B method thanks to a set of bushings and a dead center from Johnny CNC, and the blank is an AmalgaMutt!!! I am very pleased with the results from this!!!

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Dan

Hmmmm...not one of my blanks. I can't quite tell who it came from. Looks like Steelers colors in the resin, and with the swirl definitions, I think there's a good chance that's Alumilite. The PR tends to bleed together a little more because it takes longer to set up. Do you know what kind of wood it is? That might help to give proper credit to the blank manufacturer. :)

I've only done one pen with the between centers thing. I'm still scared to give up my mandrel!

Keep it up, Dan!

Dan you made a lovely job on turning that blank, however, it looks slightly overturned creating a step from blank to metalwork at the top of the lower barrel.

Other than that it looks great!:)
