New Guy First Photo

I've been lurking for a few months and only turning since about June but here's one I thought I'm not too embarrassed about.

I ordered some blanks being phased out from Slabs, Blanks and Boards and Bob over there sent me a custom pour he was playing with. I finished it this morning and thought it came out pretty good. I have been trying to pay particular attention to tolerance and shaping and thought this one was almost what I like. Let me know what you think.

That blank looks a whole lot better than my photo does for it. I hope he decides to works on it some more and make it a production blank.

Bassets have been around our house for 20+years. He's the oldest of three right now.

New at the picture and posting thing. I'll try to get better close-ups next time and stay within the pic size limits.

Nice job. Good looking blank also. I recently received around 50 or 60 custom sized blanks from them. Their Mardi Gras blank is wonderful.

Mike, If you mean the background in the picture, that's my $5k light tent. i.e. the patio that's undergoing a renovation. I sneak in a pen when my wife's not looking.
