Hi,

Here is one of my latest pens. I made this one two days ago, listed it on etsy this morning, and it sold about four hours ago. I have never turned the genesis blanks before so I didn't know exactly what to expect. I think that they dull the tool more then normal acrylic blanks do as I had to sharpen the skew I use four times over the course of turning the pen. Oh well, it wasn't that bad and the blank is very different from what I am used to.

Thanks for looking,

John

Fit: all four look really good, especially on the pen body.

Finish: from the pictures, I'd say you put a good CA finish on it. It's nice, even, and very shiny!

Form: you got the pen body nice and straight, which is fitting for the components, and a little more difficult than usual on the long mag grad tube.

Eye-appeal: I can see why it sold in a matter of hours, chrome was definitely the right choice for this blank, and the straightness of the form sets off the curves and swirls in the blank.

Great job! With the upgraded nib, that will be a cherished and long lasting pen!
