first one is heart pine the second one is cocobolo.

They are both great. Is the heart pine really soft? I'd be afraid that it would mar with use.

Both look great.

Bev, I would think with the CA finish that would add some hardness to the pine. Since Corn Cob is really soft and people have made it without stablizing with the exception of the CA, and it is quite hard enough.

Just my gues.

Again, Great job with the pens.
