Any one care to guess as to what this worthless Mystery Wood is???? I had some if it laying around and decided to see if I could do something with it. I stabilized it with CA first then cast it with Alumilite. It came out better than I thought it would. It is a fairly common wood.

That's Not it, It's native to the U.S. (as far as I know)

Mesquite. What did I win??? :biggrin:
I'll Give it to you,,,, It is actually Mesquite Bark, I saw how nice it looked when it was left on a bowl I did so I tried casting some. If you want some Mesquite wood send me a PM with your address and I will share with you for your prize. :biggrin::biggrin:
