Mystery Burl from Dalecamino

Dalecamino gave me this Mystery Burl during one of the first Indiana Chapter meetings, I know it took me a few years but I stepped away from turning for a year and a half after having three surgeries and having my third and final child who has a rare blood disorder. Everything is all good now and this is one of the first pens I have turned since I have started back up.

Josh your pen looks good when you finally make it out. You might consider a different background. Its very hard to see the pen.

Josh, what a surprise. Good to see you here, and are making pens again. Sorry I do not remember what that wood is, or if I ever did know. The pen looks good. Would be better with a white or gray background as Mike said. Thanks for posting it, and I hope we see more pens from you. Take care.

fixing the background is on the list of things to do. I just threw it on my counter top and took the pic. just happy to be back in the shop again
