myrtle burl sierra

It seems that everytime I turn a new pen it turns out to be my current favorite. This is the first time I've seen Myrtle Burl but I thing I may try to find more. This was dry sanded to 12k mm then three coats of ca/blo then sanded to 12k mm again. Sierra kit from Ernie at beartooth woods. All comments welcome good and bad cause I trying out a new camera.

I'm no expert by any stretch but somthing definitely ou of focus. Nice pen though.

The top image is the better of the two. Its pretty timber and a nice looking pen, well done.

Nice looking pen. Like the wood. As far as photo it appears that the camera is focusing on the drop in front of the pen instead of the pen. Keep in mind I suffer from a disease that causes double vision and wear glasses that can only correct so much of it. (no joke)
