We went to woodcraft yesterday and i thought it would be nice to make one for my wife. rather than giving her my rejects. She chose a really nice Bubinga blank and a bright copper cigar kit. I used about five coats of ca and went through all mm pads, then polish. Well here are the results. I normaly dont care for the copper kits but with the sheen of the bubinga it looks pretty good. She loves the pen thats all that counts. All comments good or bad are more than welcome as i always learn from them.

I am surprised as most women don't like that size of a pen. I have only had one woman that said she really likes bigger pens.

I was kinda suprised too. I told her it would be a thick heavy pen but thats what she wanted.

Bubinga never seems to get the love that some of the other woods receive, but it is definitely one of the more attractive woods around. Very nice work! That should score well with the wife.
