Well here are a couple my wife made for her mom and dad. The wood is a Bethlehem olive the acrylic is a store bought.

Great looking work...now if I could just get my wife to have the same interests once in a while. Tell her she did a great job

No this is not her first. She was really nervous on the acrylic cause the last two she tried to turn blew on her. So I had her adjust how she was holding the handle and it went better this time.

Great looking pair. (It's hard to type that with a straight face. I'm a 15 year old in a 50 year old body, and I'm only 31) I can't really turn my parents anything for any reason. They have a workshop to die for and they're pretty much out of room to store pens and bowls.
