I made this pen for a friend in exchange for the Zebrawood. I think it looks just like a Tiger. This is probably the toughest wood that I have encountered yet. It took me 3 pieces of wood to get the cap finished. This was the first time I used BLO, I was amazed at how it caused the wood to seem to be translucent when I twist the pen around.
I hope my finish seems to be getting a little bit better. The cameras that I have available do not allow me to the set-up very well.

Cross cut Zebra is an extremely difficult wood to turn, it wants to blow out at the end you are turning toward, (guess I didn't have to tell you that did I)? But when done successfully it makes a gorgeous writing instrument as you have done, Nice work..[^][^][^] finish looks nice as well
