Yesterday I did 3 pens and 2 small bowls ( bowls will been seen in my photos album sometime today or tomorrow )

Here's a BOW, I made it for a friend who went to surgery last Thursday ( quadruple bypass and lungs surgery )he's OK but very weak.

Hi Lou yes the fig look good very crumbly to turn no nice shaving, I got 3 blanks last Saturday from a friend as it's hard to come by because the tree are protected now.

Nice work - I especially like the Moreton bay fig.

Moreton Bay, ahh, that reminds me you must have had some Moreton Bay Bugs - there is a famous restuarant out your way that does them, mmmm! especially with a "Tube 'o Tooey" or two!!

Hi Mik yes Moreton Bay bugs are very nice to eat I think in the States they call it flip Losbter ( ? I think )
