Hope these pictures are better than my first posting. Just a reminder...I am a relatively new pen turner but I enjoy your comments - good or bad.

Good looking pens for a second posting. Keep at it. I really like your amboyna. Nice CB too!

Since you joined in late January, an article has been posted in the Library for giving an overview of necessary tools, helpful tools, extra tools, finishes, kits, blanks and methods. You are well into pen turning already but some of this might still be helpful.

Ron,

Good looking pens but the photos don't really show them off. In particular the last one seems out of focus. Do you have a macro setting on your camera?

Ron,
Nice pens. I'm not familiar with beeswing burl. What kind of wood is it? One of my first pens was pink ivory and I enjoyed turning it. My favorite is somewhat similar in color, but is much easier to turn, in my opinion. It's redheart.
Keep up the good work.

Rob, my posting saying the pen was from "beeswing burl" should have read "beeswing narra", which I got from Griffin's. Guess I had burl on my mind. Thanks for the nice compliments.
