Ok. I lied. This is actually my third but only the second one I cast then turned. I took the advice of a couple of fellow turners and was able to get the strips cut into more uniform thickness and fit them closer together so there was less gap. It takes time but I think it is fun to actually make the blank as well as the pen.

Any critique is greatly appreciated. I am always looking to improve.

Awesome! I should look into doing this since I can cast now! Fit, finish, form, and eye-apeal are all incredible! And even better that you made the blank!

Thanks for all the nice comments guys. I wish my Carbon Fiber castings would turn out as nice. ;)

Practice is fun though!
