As with all of us the pine pith of 2011 has given my Pith partner a pithy time. OR as we all know it has had its challenges.
I think the picture will give all the needed explanation of why this pen was a little late. May I present Vic's effort 1 and 2

He sent them along for a chuckle and indeed I did.

How ever persevering he finally conquered the mighty Pine and sent me this pen.

A beautiful inlayed feather cigar pen. As wide as it is its very light.

Thank you for the pen and the blanks Mr Vic.

The third time was a charm....I modified a Premium Cygar kit from Woodcraft. I turned down the transmission coupler so it woold slip into the upper half...It had a loose and woobly fit so I also turned down the center band so it would slide into the upper tube. If you make the seperation about an inch from the nib, you don't get the wobble and can toss the center band.....of course you then have to worry about where the tips of the feathers ......have had them clipped at the tips...

Thanks for being paiten Mike.
