My Pith pen has arrived...!

And my Pith 2012 pen from louisbry has arrived, with a great selection of his local woods.

The pen is a Jr Retro dressed in a buckeye burl blank. I'm also told that he stabilised it with Cactus Juice from Curtis...!

A very well made pen, with some filling work that was also done to perfection, the finish as a deep lustre, showing the wood very well.

Thanks Louis, for a great job and for the box full of goodies, that I always cherish.

The pen will be added to my personal collection that is on display in my computer room so, seen by others quite often...!

Was great to have you as my 2012 Pith partner, lets hope we can participate on it, for a little while longer...!

Nice haul there! That is one of the cooler piece of buckeye burl I have seen. It looks like it turned out really well. That is cool you have a display where other people can enjoy it too.

That is very cool, especially love the lid. for a moment there from viewing the thumbnail of the lid i was expecting to see an oil like painting of a person on it! , then it turned out to be a very pretty burl instead.
