My PITH to Hard Hat

Here's the pen I made for Brett for the Dec. "Kitless" PITH. I tried to go with a design I hadn't tried before. Plus I went with a rollerball instead of a fountain pen. I thought I might get more use that way.

For materials I used my all time favorite vintage cellulose acetate. This was the last of what I had. The rest of the pen is made up with Japanese black ebonite. The clip and nose cone are black titanium (yes I robbed a zen for the nose cone ). I thought the colors would play well with the cellulose acetate.

Brett....I really hope you enjoy this one. You ALMOST didn't get it :devil::biggrin:

Oh, I don't remember if I told you or not Brett...to change the refill unscrew the nose cone

Thanks Charlie, I'm really proud of it! No I can't take any credit for that pattern. Someone back in the 20's-30's made that stuff. It's awesome material to work with.
