Heard that Chris received his pen. I originally started out with the intent of creating a 60+ piece segmented masterpiece. 4 created blanks died an early death. The other 2 won't see the light of day since my technique was flawed from the beginning. So, I created this:

Buckey Burl (not stabilized). Sanding sealer, 1 coat BLO, 1 coat thin CA, 3 coats polyurethane. MM to 12000. Polish & Ren Wax. On an Atrax Rollerball.

Love the buckeye burl. Have never seen such a nice finish job w/poly. Well done.
